We love our kids so much, we find new ways to tell them.

“I love you to the moon and back!” “I love you to the tips of my toes!”

Pepper has invented her own way of telling me she loves me.

Sometimes, it is, “Mommy, I just love you TOO MUCH!” (There is truth in that.)

But lately, she says the biggest number she knows- “Mommy, I love you 148!”

It has become our secret code. And in my head, I know I’ll always love her 149.
